王国维戏曲研究所展示的学理型态迥异于传统戏曲研究，他所创立的范式与提出的命题，规范着20世纪戏曲研究的基本模式与基本构架。本文试图把王国维全部戏曲研究作为一种文化现象进行整体观照，探讨其戏曲研究在中国现代学术史上的意义。
The research on Wang Guowei’s opera theory differs from that of traditional drama study. The paradigm and the propositions he created have regulated the basic model and basic framework of drama research in the 20th century. This thesis tries to take a holistic view of all the studies of Wang Guowei’s opera as a kind of cultural phenomenon and discuss the significance of its opera studies in the modern Chinese academic history.
