Its philosophical basis comes from humanitarianism, individualism, and Marxist theory on the comprehensive and free man’s development. While emphasizing the moral nature of the self-determination of the moderators, we should not overlook the many constraints they face. The guarantee of the right of the client to self-determination is a question that concerns the responsibility of the client and the social worker.
