Objective To observe the changes of fasting gastrointestinal myoelectrical activity in patients with abdominal distension. Methods A total of 501 patients with abdominal distension admitted to hospital were enrolled in this study. The EGG-8D gastrointestinal electrogoldograph was used to detect the myoelectric activity of the gastrointestinal tract. The changes of gastrointestinal myoelectrical activity were analyzed. Results There were many abnormalities of gastric electrical activity. A variety of abnormalities could exist at the same time. The abnormalities of gastric myoelectrical activity were the most common abnormalities in the performance of gastric electrical activity (FDP). The percentage of VP-P, %), The percentage of normal slow wave (N%), the main waveform frequency (DF), bradycardia (B%), tachycardia (T%), the percentage of coupling, lead time difference, the difference was statistically significant Significance (P <0.05). VP-P, A%, N% abnormalities between the three showed no difference (P> 0.05). Intestinal abnormalities also exist the performance of a variety of abnormalities, a variety of abnormal forms can coexist. Bloating patients may exist ascending colon, transverse colon, lower B colon, rectal electrical abnormalities. Can be present in a single part of abnormal myoelectric activity, but also can exist in multiple parts abnormal myoelectric activity. Conclusion Abdominal distension patients have abnormal gastrointestinal myoelectrical activity, and the manifestations are complex and diverse. The detection of myoelectrical activity can reflect the scope and severity of gastrointestinal motility disorders in patients with abdominal distension, which is conducive to guiding clinical treatment.
