[目的 /意义]了解美国常春藤联盟8所高校图书馆面向校外读者服务情况,为我国高校图书馆开展此项服务提供借鉴。[方法 /过程]采用网络调查法,从开放对象、入馆方式、收费情况和开放权限4个方面收集、整理和分析常春藤联盟大学图书馆面向校外读者服务的详细信息。[结果 /结论]美国常春藤联盟高校图书馆的校外读者范围广、服务人性化,制度较为完善。我国高校图书馆应积极转变思维观念,提高服务质量,完善开放制度,积极及时公示宣传和争取多方政策与资金支持,保障开放持续可行等。
[Purpose / Significance] To understand the services provided by the Ivy League colleges and universities in eight university libraries to out-of-school readers and to provide reference for our university libraries to carry out the service. [Methods / Processes] Collect, collate and analyze the Ivy League University library’s out-of-school reader services detailed information from four aspects: open object, admission method, charging situation and open authority by using network survey method. [Result / Conclusion] The Ivy League University Library has a wide range of out-of-school readers, a more humane service and a more complete system. China’s university library should actively change the concept of thinking, improve service quality, improve the open system, and actively publicize and promote publicity in a timely manner and strive for multi-party policy and financial support, protection and opening up continued and feasible.
