St Paul’s Cathedral: Fortunate Lucky Star On September 12, 1940, a bomb with a delay fuse fell on the lawn in front of the church. Due to the wrong timing of the fuze, the bomb did not explode when it landed. British Royal Corps squadron squad, who received the alarm, bravely entered the scene, risking the danger of a bomb being exploded at any time and digging bombs that have been drilled into the ground. After working continuously for 3d, the bomb was finally dug up. The engineers off-loaded it to a safe place and detonated a large crater about 30 meters in diameter. If allowed to explode in front of the church, St. Paul’s Cathedral will inevitably escape.
