Shapiro的零树编码算法是小波域中一种很成功的算法,但该算法没有考虑视觉特性。该文考虑了视觉的频率特性及方向特性,用Mannos的视觉模型计算各子带的视觉权值,对零树算法进行了改进,提高了编码重构图像的视觉质量。
Shapiro’s zero-tree coding algorithm is a very successful algorithm in the wavelet domain, but the algorithm does not consider the visual characteristics. In this paper, the visual frequency characteristics and directional characteristics are considered. The visual weights of each sub-band are calculated by using Mannos visual model. The zerotree algorithm is improved and the visual quality of the reconstructed image is improved.
