At present, fragmented information has become an important part of the new media environment in social life. Its content, form, and attributes all have an immense influence on the formation and development of young people’s values. These effects have both positive and negative components. Positively, the fragmented information in the new media environment provides young people with new ways to quickly obtain a large amount of knowledge and information. The two-way communication can promote the formation and development of adolescent values. Its diversity is defined as adolescents Looking at the problem provides a number of perspectives and a variety of solutions. From the negative impact point of view, the sub-culture and moral education in school produced a break in the ethical orientation. The improper content would aggravate the value orientation in the rebellious youth. The diversity will make the adolescent values stagnated in confusion . Through the probe into the positive and negative impact of adolescents’ values from fragmented information in the new media environment, this paper further expounds that the guidance of adolescent values should focus on the integration and unification of instrumental rationality and value rationality and the negative impact on eliminating fragmented information. In the meantime, we should pay attention to both the symptoms and the root cause, that is, pay attention to the social management while paying more attention to the training of young people’s new media literacy. The education of young people’s values should begin to focus on three aspects: the education needs and the concept of scientific and technological innovation.
