张隆溪,北京大学西语系硕士,美国哈佛大学比较文学博士,曾受聘于美国加州大学河滨校区,任比较文学教授,现任香港城市大学中文、翻译及语言学客座教授,研究范围包括英国文学、中国古典文学、中西文学和文化的比较研究。2009年获得瑞典人文、历史及考古学院外籍院士荣誉,成为二百五十多年来第三名获此殊荣的中国人。主要中文著作有:《二十世纪西方文论述评》、《道与逻各斯:东西方文学阐释学》、《走出文化的封闭圈》、《中西文化研究十论》、《同工异曲:跨文化阅读的启示》、
Zhang Longxi, Master of Western Languages Department of Peking University, Ph.D. in Comparative Literature, Harvard University, USA. He was employed by the University of California, Riverside as a professor of comparative literature. He is currently a visiting professor of Chinese, Translation and Linguistics at City University of Hong Kong. His research interests include English Literature, Classical Literature, Comparative Study of Chinese and Western Literature and Culture. In 2009, he was awarded the honor of being a foreign academician of the Swedish College of Humanities, History and Archeology and became the third Chinese to receive this honor in more than 250 years. The main Chinese writings are: “Review of Western Literary Theory in the Twentieth Century”, “Tao and Logos: Interpretation of Eastern and Western Literatures”, “Out of the Closed Circle of Culture”, “Ten Studies of Chinese and Western Cultural Studies”, " : Implications of Cross-Cultural Reading
