1992年,被广西军区政治部誉为“南国青年军人之星”的宋华复员转入保靖县水电局任保卫干警。从此,这位浓眉大眼、脸面黝黑,曾参加过对越自卫反击战的侦察排长又担负起了维护地方社会治安的工作。几年来,他凭着一股凛然正气,与战友们一道侦破水电案件103起,抓获各类违法犯罪分子137名,其中他只身勇擒歹徒57人,制止流氓违法行为40多件,挽救失足青年12人,防止群众性械斗4起。
In 1992, Song Hua, who was hailed as “Star of the Young Soldiers of Southern China” by the Political Department of Guangxi Military Region, was transferred to Baojing County Hydropower Bureau to defend police officers. Since then, the Nongmei large-eyed, dark-skinned, reconnaissance platoon leader who participated in the Vietnam Self-Defense Strike War also took on the task of safeguarding local public order.
