综合英语课是本科英语专业的一门重要的基础课,其教学模式的多样化和有效性一直是专业教师集中研讨的问题。本文旨在介绍一种新的综合英语课堂教学模式,即论坛(Seminar)模式,简而言之就是在教师组织和引导下的学生分组讨论和课堂展示,但较一般的讨论和展示对教师的指导、学生的自主性及思考的密度和深度上有更高的要求。本文从听、说、读、写、思五个方面详尽阐述了课堂论坛模式及其可行性,并以实践经验为基础提出了这个模式存在的问题和改进的思路。
Integrated English is an important basic course for undergraduate English majors. The diversity and effectiveness of its teaching model have always been the focus of professional teachers’ discussion. The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new comprehensive English classroom teaching model, the Seminar model. In short, it is the group discussion and classroom presentation under the organization and guidance of teachers, but it is more general discussion and presentation to teachers. There is a higher demand for guidance, student autonomy, and the density and depth of thinking. This article expatiates on the classroom forum mode and its feasibility from five aspects of listening, speaking, reading, writing and thinking. Based on practical experience, this paper proposes the problems and ideas of this mode.
