1990年，我在一篇题名《缘分》的散文中，有这样一段叙述：“1952年5月，我从二野军大五分校转业到息烽。开始是分在县委组织部。因为跟着喜欢写作的县委书记下乡蹲点，在他的鼓励下写了几篇新闻报道在报纸上发表，才三个月，又调县委宣传部，任通讯干事。”这段叙述过于简略。
In 1990, in a essay entitled “Fate,” I wrote a passage like this: “In May 1952, I switched from the Second Field Army to the Xifeng Campus and started to belong to the county organization department.
