A subset of HIV-1 infected patients undergoing antiretroviral treatment with HIV-1 protease inhibitors (PI’s) develops a syndrome called Lipodystrophy of HIV (LDHIV). LDHIV is characterized by loss of peripheral subcutaneous adipose tissue (face, limbs, b
