沥青性能的评价,从针入度分级体系、粘度分级体系到PG分级体系,沥青粘度的测量显的越来越重要。但测量沥青的粘度不像测量针入度、软化点、延度等参数那样容易测量,粘度指标受各种影响因素较多,测量方法多样。按测量结果分为运动粘度、动力粘度(绝对粘度)、条件粘度等,按测量方法分一是粘度杯法,如沥青标准粘度计、恩格拉粘度计、赛波特重质油粘度计等;二是毛细管法,如毛细管法测量运动粘度、真空减压毛细管法测量动力粘度;三是旋转法测量粘度,即布洛克菲尔德(Brookfield)粘度计。其它测量粘度的方法如落体法、振动法、平板法等,目前还没有在沥青粘度
