隐喻是人类思维的一种方式,不同于直接描述的表达方法,是一种在人类认知活动中起到非常重要作用的表达方法。隐喻不仅仅是一种丰富人类语言的修辞手法,还是一种美化词句的间接手段。隐喻作为人类认知活动中的重要表达方法,是语言文化达到的一种新的高度,是人类文化沉淀和积累的重要途径。通过长期隐喻思维和英语教学的合理结合,一方面可以增加学生基本英语理论知识,另一方面还可以促进学生的全面发展,从而为祖国输送有创新实战能力的人才。
Metaphor is a way of human thinking. Different from the direct description of expression, it is an expression method that plays a very important role in human cognitive activity. Metaphor is not only a rhetorical device that enriches human language, but also an indirect means of beautifying words. Metaphor, as an important method of expression in human cognitive activities, is a new height attained by language and culture and an important way for the settlement and accumulation of human culture. Through long-term metaphorical thinking and reasonable combination of English teaching, on the one hand, students’ basic English theoretical knowledge can be increased; on the other hand, they can also promote the all-round development of students so as to deliver innovative and practical talents to the motherland.
