记者站建设是报社队伍建设的重要方面。记者站管理力度的大小、经济实力的强弱、驻站记者业务水平的高低，直接关系到工作的绩效。增强报纸的核心竞争力，记者站的地位和作用举足轻重。有鉴于此，本期《前沿关注》专栏讨论“记者站的功能定位及事业拓展”，共刊发6篇文章，把它们作为一个整体来阅读，有助于引发对在新的历史条件下如何搞好记者站建设的深层次思考。记者站建设是一个大题目，一期讨论难以尽述方方面面。本刊欢迎读者来稿继续参加讨论。
Reporter station construction is an important aspect of newspaper team building.
