近年来海洋开发的规模迅速扩大,不论是海港建设,海上石油平台的建立,水下输油管的布设,处处都要求掌握海底工程地质的情况。但海中钻探取样非常费工费时,多年来人们一直在探索用其他简便方法来代替或辅助。声学方法就是一种很有前途的方法。沉积声学就是应这种需要和在水声学、海洋地质学与海洋土力学等几方面配合下发展起来的一门新兴学科。美国海军研究署在1973年召开了海洋沉积物声学会议。北大西洋公约组织反潜战研究中心在1980年开了一个与海底相互作用的海洋声学会议。今年在伦敦召开了声学与海底国际会议。这几个会都是几方面结合的会议,说明这门学科的发展受到各方面的重视。
In recent years, the scale of ocean exploitation has rapidly expanded. Whether it is the construction of a seaport, the establishment of a platform for offshore oil platforms, the laying of underwater oil pipelines, and the need to master the seabed engineering geology everywhere. However, drilling in the sea is very laborious and time-consuming, and people have been exploring ways to replace or assist with other simple methods for many years. Acoustic method is a promising method. Sedimentary acoustics is a new discipline that needs to be developed with the cooperation of water acoustics, marine geology and marine soil mechanics. The United States Naval Research Agency held a conference on marine sediment acoustics in 1973. The NATO Research Center for Anti-Submarine War opened a conference on marine acoustics that interacted with the seabed in 1980. This year, an international conference on acoustics and seabed was held in London. These meetings will be a combination of several aspects of the meeting, indicating that the development of this subject by all aspects of attention.
