A combined early generation selection of high yield potential, quality and stability at test points representing the production environment can be combined with performance-consistent control genes and can reduce breeding time in half. This can be done using a honeycomb selection method because it overcomes the chaotic effects of environmental interactions on genotypes through early generation options for both general and special adaptability. After the variety is released, if we continue to remove the undesirable mutations through multiple environment choices and retain favorable mutations, we can further improve the varieties rather than degenerate them.
