Objective To explore the value of combined detection of urinary albumin (Alb), Ig G and β2-microglobulin (β2-MG) in early diagnosis and lesion in children with renal disease (nephropathy). Methods A total of 127 children with renal diseases, including 61 cases of acute nephritis, were nephritis group, 66 cases of nephrotic syndrome were nephropathy group, and 50 cases of normal healthy children were selected as control group. The urine, Alb, Ig G, and β2-MG in the three groups were measured by RIA. Results The urinary Alb and Ig G in nephritis group and nephropathy group were significantly higher than those in control group (P <0.01). The urinary β2-MG in nephropathy group was significantly higher than that in control group and nephritis group (P <0.01). Conclusion The combined determination of Alb, Ig G and β2-MG in urine can reflect the damage of the kidneys sensitively and can distinguish the damage of the glomerulus and the tubules, and is positively correlated with the disease.
