近些年来,被称为民生新闻的电视节目异军突起,引起了业界的关注。本期《专题研讨》栏目发表的三篇文章探讨了其发展状况、存在问题,对它的称谓也有所辨析,等等。实际上,无论是以前这类节目被称之为社会新闻,还是目前流行称为民生新闻、都市新闻等,都不过是形式上的说法而已。最要紧的是它为何能甫一出现就取得了如此令人惊叹的社会效益和经济效益,受到了广泛的欢迎。应该说,这一类节目的出现和发展,适应了时代的要求,体现了“三贴近”的精神,有利于和谐社会建设。这恐怕是它为人民群众喜闻乐见的原因所在。党中央提出构建社会主义和谐社会,对此,电视人负有义不容辞的重要使命。为构建和谐社会发挥更大的作用,是电视人的责任所系,而电视业本身也一定可以在这一进程中不断进步,获得更大的发展。
In recent years, the television program known as livelihood news has sprung up everywhere, attracting the attention of the industry. This issue of “Symposium” column published three articles discussing its development status, problems, its appellation has also been identified, and so on. In fact, no matter whether the previous programs were called social news or the current popular news such as livelihood news and metropolitan news are just formal statements. The most important thing is why it has achieved such amazing social and economic benefits as soon as it appeared that it has been widely welcomed. It should be said that the emergence and development of such programs have adapted to the requirements of the times and embody the spirit of “three closerness” and are conducive to the building of a harmonious society. This is probably the reason why it is loved by the people. The CPC Central Committee put forward the proposal of building a harmonious socialist society. In this regard, the television people are duty-bound to carry an important mission. To play a greater role in building a harmonious society is the responsibility of the television people. The television industry itself must certainly be able to make continuous progress and achieve greater development in this process.
