花粳2号是我市花园口乡农技站从农垦57中系选培育而成的优质粳米新品种,1985年在河南省优质米评选会上,被评为第一位优质米。同年,又被农牧渔业部评为全国优质米品种。自1983年推广以来,目前在豫北沿黄稻区已发展到近百万亩,并引到山东、江苏、河北、湖北等七省种植。1986年在我市推广11万亩,主要作麦茬稻种植,平均亩产445公斤,最高亩产达到600公斤。为了掌握花粳2号的高产规律,1986年在我市设点对其生育进程做了较详细的观察,历年对亩产超500公斤的田块也做了一些调查,现将麦茬稻花粳2号亩产超500公斤的栽培技术介绍如下。
