Clinical research data shows that the effect of acupuncture is related to the menstrual cycle, and the effect of acupuncture in patients undergoing hysterectomy has a certain correlation with estrogen levels in the body. In order to further study this clinical phenomenon in order to explore its mechanism, we observed the effect of sexual cycle changes in female rats on acupuncture analgesia. In the experiment, 39 female Sprague-Dawley rats were used. The pain threshold before acupuncture and the pain threshold at 10, 20, and 30 minutes after acupuncture were measured by Paalzow(R) electric stimulation of rat tail. Then according to the results of rat vaginal smear microscopy,
