「0biective」Thisstudyaimedtoinvestigatetheeffectsofcultivationmeth—odsonriceyieldandeconomicbenefitsintheDongtingLakearea.「Method」Afieldplotexperimentwasconductedbyadoptingthreedifferentplantingpatternsofartifi-ciaIsowing,artificiaIthrowingandmechanicaItransplanting.「Result」Riceyieldofmechanicaltransplantingwas7.84%and24.19%higherrespectivelythanthatofar—tificiaIsowingandartificiaIthrowing.Theeffectivepaniclesperunitareaofmechani.caItransplantinganda~ificiaIthrowingwerelessthanthatofartificiaIsowing.Onthecontrary.grainsperspike.1000-grainweightandseedsettingrateofmechani—caltransplantingandartificialthrowingwereIessthanthoseofartificiaIsowing.Me-chanicaltransplantingofricebroughtthehighestnetincome1177916Vuan/hm2,whichwas1697-72and3631.84yuan/hm0higherthanthatofartificiaIthrowinganda~ificiaIsowing.【ConclusionlMechanicaItransplantingcouldpromotericeproductivityinDongtingLakearea,andcouldincreasericeyieldsandeconomicreturns.
