高压是果树常用的一种无性繁殖方法。惠安县苗圃菱溪分圃为大力发展闽南特产——龙眼、荔枝等果树改变我县果苗长期依靠外援的被动局面,在开展群众性科学实验运动中,发扬敢想敢干精神,一九七五年三月在250多株荔枝树上,用“环剥”和“环敲”两种办法进行高压繁育荔枝苗试验。通过试验结果,环敲的发根早、茁很多、成苗率高、定植后生长快,是一种较佳的繁殖方法。
