雀舌黄杨为黄杨科黄杨属植物,它表皮开裂如盔甲而显得格外苍劲,适合于盆景栽植。笔者本次制作的盆景植物为雀舌黄杨变异品种,表皮皱纹更深,木质化程度更明显,叶片更小,观赏价值极高。小盆景制作一般在苗木较小时用铜丝固定进行造型,铜丝要带胶皮,以避免损伤枝条。主干蟠扎根据雀舌黄杨树干的粗细,选用合适的铜丝,若铜丝太粗,操作费力且易伤害树皮;若铜丝太细,则机械力达不到理想的造型要求。蟠扎前把铜丝截好
