一、前言 所谓粒子束武器(PBW)就是发射接近光速的粒子束,借助粒子对目标碰撞和渗透过程中产生的热能和副生电磁能来破坏目标或使之失效的一种武器。它与高能激光武器(HELW)一起,被称为定向能武器。现在,作为研究对象的粒子束有:电子、质子等带电粒子束(CPB)和氢原子等中性粒子束(NPB)两种。 带电粒子束目前以电子束为对象,根据其传播特性,主要考虑用于大气层内近距高速目标的拦截。但就最近的研究成果来看,与激光配合使用有可能用于拦截上层大气中的弹道导弹。

Preface The so-called particle beam weapon (PBW) is a kind of weapon that emits a particle beam close to the speed of light and destroys or invalidates the target by utilizing the thermal energy and byproduct electromagnetic energy generated by the particles in the collision and infiltration of the target. Together with the HELW, it is called a directed energy weapon. At present, two types of particle beams to be studied are charged particle beams (CPB) such as electrons and protons, and neutral particle beams (NPB) such as hydrogen atoms.
