历史学家在研究历史时，不管他是否运用阶级分析方法，他必定都有自己本阶级的意识。阶级意识与阶级分析方法各自存在于不同的观念层次上，无疑，阶级意识居于更深刻更内在的层面上，而阶级分析方法则属于较肤浅较外在的层面上。历史学家的思维方式也受到阶级意识的影响，其思维过程同时也就是他的阶级意识过程。历史学家获取阶级意识的过程也就是阶级意识作用于他的历史思维的过程。
Historians in the study of history, regardless of whether he uses the method of class analysis, he must have his own class consciousness. The methods of class consciousness and class analysis exist at different levels of ideas. There is no doubt that class consciousness lies at a deeper and inner level, while the class analysis method belongs to a more superficial and more external level. The way of thinking of historians is also influenced by the consciousness of the class, which is also the process of his class consciousness. The process by which historians acquire class consciousness is also the process by which class consciousness acts on his historical thinking.
