Researchers reviewed and analyzed a previous study of exercise and premature deaths, arguing that running may be the most effective way of exercising to increase life expectancy. The new study found that runners tended to live three years longer than non-runners, even when they ran very slowly or only occasionally, smoking, drinking and obesity.
