Urban garden plant pest control, is to consolidate the landscaping achievements an important part, more and more aroused people’s attention. However, due to the massive application of chemical agents in recent years, certain pests have become out of control and rampant. According to relevant information, the pesticides used for pest control in gardens in Beijing in 1979 were 50 tons and reached 100 tons in 1983, but the pests A few times more; Shanghai only to control the thorn moths and moths, the city garden department every year on medication 100 tons, get the leaves will be “broken phase”; Shijiazhuang city pests because of adverse control of trees, almost every year by the masses in The newspaper criticized ... ... we are feeling painful that the present prevention and treatment that can not be victorious and can not be avoided are badly in need of improvement. How to change this increasingly passive situation? We participated in the national urban garden plant pests and diseases, natural enemies resources survey and quarantine objects for the past two years, for natural enemies of pest inhibition, with personal experience, on this basis, we Special proposed urban garden plant pest control in three areas (that is, non-control area, biological defense zone and chemical defense zone.) Suggestions, and we discuss. Dividing the control of garden plant pests and diseases into three zones is conducive to the elimination of plant diseases and insect pests; helps to save energy; is conducive to reducing plant protection costs, is conducive to protecting the environment and maintaining ecological balance; and is conducive to promoting the scientific and modernized garden work.
