Several chemicals such as nitrosamine have been known to induce the carcinoma of nasal cavity and na-sopharynx in the rat.Recently,human fetal nasopharyngeal epithelium has been demonstrated to be trans-formed by N’N—dinitrosopiperazine(DNP)in vitro.To further understand the roles of DNP on human na-sopharyngeal epithelium carcinogenesis and its underneath molecular events in vivo,we have developed a nov-el animal by transplanting the human fetal nasopharyngeal mucosal tissues into congenitally athymic mice.In
