“一幅令人惊诧之作:没有线条没有边;颂歌,没有语言;艺术,不借助于形状;没有花饰,没有故事,没有传说,没有寓意,没有身体和脸面;色调,是唯一的效应。艺术只是情感的流露,是抒情。心灵在里面自述,自我倾诉,高歌自我的激情。”这是艺术史学家吉列(L.Gillet)有感于莫奈(Claude Monet 1840-1926)的连环巨制《睡莲》所写的诗。散文诗。星火四射的文字。我们不妨称之为《咏莲》(les Nymphéas)。只咏莫奈的莲。
