一、Phorbol的简解大戟二萜醇(Phorbol)属四环二萜类植物成分,得自大戟科(Euphorbiaceae)和瑞香科(Thymeleaceae)中的许多植物体。其分子式为C_(20)H_(28)O_(?)分子量为364.44。其中C—65.96%,H—7.74%,O—26.34%。四十五年前,例如从大戟科巴豆属的豆巴(Croton、tiglum L)种子中的一种脂肪油——巴豆油含此种化学成份,用作剧烈的泻下药,也作为发红剂和抗刺激剂(Counterirritant)用。但在1941年发现,其显示辅致癌剂(Cocarcinogens)的活性,因而得知大戟二萜醇是巴豆油中某些具有助长肿瘤生长的化合物的母体。
