临床上应用的白芍均经过去外皮和水煮处理,同时在使用上又有生白芍,炒白芍和酒白芍之分。本文实验结果表明白芍所除去的外皮中仍含有芍药甙,其含量为2.27%;经水煮处理者其芍药甙的含量明显高于未经水煮者,而带皮者中芍药甙的含量仅略高于去皮者;白芍经炒制和酒炙后其芍药甙含量均有降低。
