保尔·法尔曼,1944年2月14日生于美国马萨诸塞州的剑桥,就读于一家私立中学,并考入波士顿学院。中途辍学后,他进入一家分销室外运动器材的公司,当一名推销员。由于成绩突出.他接连被提升,最后当上了销售部副总经理,后来又任公司财务主任。1979年,法尔曼出席一个体育用品展销会,英国的一家制造运动鞋的福斯特父子公司在展销会上展出一种牌号叫“雷宝”的跑步运动鞋系列产品。“雷宝”这个名字是取自非洲的一种羚羊。福斯特父子公司建于1895年,是世界上最早生产运动鞋的厂家。
Paul Fallman, born February 14, 1944 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, attended a private secondary school and was admitted to Boston College. After dropping out of school, he entered a company that distributes outdoor sports equipment as a salesman. As a result of outstanding achievements, he was promoted one after another, and finally became the vice president of sales, and later served as the company’s financial officer. In 1979, Farman attended a sporting goods fair. A British-based manufacturer of sports shoes, Foster & Sons exhibited a series of running shoes called “Ray-Ban” at the trade fair. “Ray Bao” is the name of an antelope from Africa. Foster’s father and son company built in 1895, is the world’s first production of sports shoes manufacturers.
