毛主席指示我們:青年學生應做到身體好,學習好、工作好。廣大的教師和學生都在熱烈地回應毛主席的這一號召,和執行毛主席的這一指示,並取得了不少的成績。但是有些學校、有些教師、有些學生,卻沒有認真執行這一指示,或根本違反了這一指示。 違反這一指示的最主要、最普遍的表現,就是學生的課業負擔太重。教學內容的分量過多,佈置課外作業過多,參考課外書過多,忽視學生身體的鍛煉,該休息的時候沒有休息,以致不但妨害了學生的健康,同時也阻礙了學習質量的提高。這樣,也就必然不能培養合格的國家建設人才。爲甚麽會造成這種現象呢?一方面是由於解放後的教師和學生在教與學上的積極性提高了,教師深怕學生學得少,學生也深怕自己學得少,所以總想多教一些、多學一些。另一方面是由於種種不正確的認識和不合理的制度,而使學生的課業負擔過重。如初三、高三學生,爲了升學而拼命趕功課,教師也鼓
