On 22 May, we concluded our visit to Yugoslavia and returned to Beijing. But I still feel like I have not come back yet. Our hearts, our feelings, are still among the warm and friendly people of Yugoslavia. This time we went to visit the capital of several Yugoslavia republics for the purpose of participating in the conference of the PEN conference delegates. During our visit at the death of President Tito and the country’s mourning, we, together with the Yugoslav people, grieve and grieve and together tearfully bid farewell to this great man in the world. The days spent in Yugoslavia are very meaningful and memorable. Our delegation of Chinese writers, Chen Huang Coal, Ye Junjian, Dai Shu Qiao and I arrived in Belgrade on 7 May. Drizzling that day, just like tears spilled. Both man and heaven grieve and cry for the great man’s death. Stand in front of us is an infinitely sad and infinite calm city, is a solemn, steady Taishan City!
