为了在我国推广使用粗直径预应力高强钢筋,并解决纵向连接问题,1976年,上海第三钢铁厂在国家建委建筑科学研究院等单位的协助下,采用40Si2V钢种,初步试制成功了直径为25毫米的高强度螺旋钢筋。这种钢筋不用焊接,而采用连接器接长。端头采用螺帽锚固,不用另加螺丝端杆,连接简单、可靠,施工方便。由于不用焊接,可以提高钢材的含碳量,减少合金元素,因此很适合作粗直径高强钢筋,这对于促进预应力的发展,具有重大意义。
