BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides an overview of an apparatus that facilitates fabrication of a magnetic core memory array and discusses in more detail a machine for automatically moving a plurality of drive wires through an annular core bore. Task The main task of the present invention is to provide a new and improved threading device for threading thin threads through perforated elements. It is another object of the present invention to provide a new pattern of motion to the ends of a plurality of filaments when they are fed into the array of holes in which the loop elements are arranged in rows. A further object of the present invention is to provide a drive mechanism in a core threading mechanism that will cause pulsation and step motion as the thin threads traverse the matrix of ring elements. It is a further object of the present invention to provide a mechanism in a thin wire threading machine which obviates the problem of drag friction existing between the line wheel and the mounted pinion shaft in prior machines.
