累世经学是实现累世三公重要原因,但累世经学与累世三公并不具有必然联系。累世三公原因有多种,应具体分析。律令世家、军功、吏能等亦是实现累世三公的重要原因。甚至在东汉末,有些位至三公者未必具有经学、律令等才识,高訾买官,贿赂、谄媚中官,取悦当权者等途径都能谋得三公之位,甚至实现累世三公。东汉累世三公家族众多亦有职官设置上之原因。
