解放以来,我国水文测验工作有很大发展,测验设备技术水平有很大提高,但在高流速高含沙量条件下的测速、测深和测沙技术未能得到很好解决,影响着水文资料成果质量的进一步提高,不能适应水利水电建设和防洪斗争的需要。为此,水电部决定将高流速高含沙量水文测验技术列为1983~1985年科研重点攻关项目。为了落实这一重点攻关项目的研究工作,水电部水文局于今年5月10日至15日在南京召开了高流速高含沙量水文测验设备科技攻关协调会。参加会议的有科研单位、工厂、有关流域机构和省(区)水文部门的科技人员共30人。会议在总结经验的基础上,讨论了高流速高含沙量水文测验没备主要技术指标;
