Shape memory alloy (SMA) is one of the most developed sensor and drive element materials in smart structure research. However, the slow response of SMA body material has limited its application to a certain extent. SMA thin film makes up for this flaw and has been easier to integrate with smart structure. This paper introduces the current situation of research on SMA thin film at home and abroad and looks forward to the future development of
