我国功率最大的韶山4型(SS4型)6400瓩八轴货运电力机车,于1988年6月15日通过国家级技术鉴定。韶山4型(SS4型)电力机车,是铁道部株洲电力机车工厂携同株洲电力机车研究所承担的我国“六五”重点科技攻关项目。该型车1号样机于85年9月制成,改进后的2号与3号机车于86年12月制成。1号样机经过了大同—张家口区段牵引3500—4000吨货列十万公里运用考核,3号机车通过了整机鉴定试验及十大主要部件的型式试验考核。
China’s power Shaoshan 4 (SS4 type) 6400 瓩 eight-axis freight electric locomotive, in June 15, 1988 through the national technical appraisal. Shaoshan Type 4 (SS4) electric locomotive is a key scientific and technological project of the “6th Five-Year Plan” undertaken by Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Works of the Ministry of Railways and Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute. The model No. 1 prototype was made in September 1985 and the modified No. 2 and No. 3 locomotives were made in December 86. 1 prototype after Datong - Zhangjiakou section traction 3500-4000 tons of cargo one hundred thousand kilometers out of use assessment, No. 3 locomotive passed the whole machine identification test and the ten main components of the type test assessment.
