Since the establishment of the Radiation Oncology Professional Committee in Jiangxi Province in 1986, the Radiotherapy Section has grown rapidly. At present, all regions of the province have carried out the professional clinical treatment work. Now the general situation of the province is summarized as follows. 1 Overview of Radiation Workers and Equipment in Shanxi Province and Some Regions of the Country The radiotherapy treatment units in our province have grown from 8 hospitals in 1986 to 26 at present.
