路企直通运输是2008年铁道部提出的挖潜提效、内涵扩大再生产、在更大范围和更新层次拓展挖潜提效新空间的重要措施。通过对淮南西站实行路企煤炭直通运输,再造直通运输流程,建立直通运输标准化体系,优化直通运输组织,缓解了淮南矿业集团煤炭运输紧张的矛盾,实现了路矿双方在生产效益上的双赢。
