青春励志题材剧《北京爱情故事》一改同类题材电视剧在表现对象和表现深度方面的片面与浮浅,勇于触及社会现状,并将目光集中在北漂年轻人身上,视角敏锐独特。巧妙运用空间意象推动叙事,将社会热点作为叙事话题,并采用别具一格的叙事风格和手法,讲述了一个悲中有喜、笑中带泪的故事。但令人遗憾的是,剧中有着不可忽略的意义悖谬,即表面承认独立打拼的价值,深层却隐含着对上述观点的否定。这也是同类题材电视剧在传达价值导向时应着重注意的问题。
