Objective To evaluate the training effect of provincial-level teacher training programs for monitoring the abnormal response in two phases of vaccination. Methods Before and after the training, the same questionnaire was used to conduct on-the-spot inspection of trainees, and at the same time, the trainees’ satisfaction with training was evaluated by the evaluation form. Results Of the 13 questions related to knowledge and skills after training, the correctness of 7 questions was significantly improved. However, nearly half of the participants still failed to grasp the classification of abnormal responses to vaccination. > 90% of trainees think the quality of this training is good, but the training materials still need to be improved and enriched. Conclusion The interactive participatory training mode is effective. Students’ knowledge, skills, cognitive attitudes and coping skills are improved in varying degrees. Some weaknesses need to be strengthened in the future training.
