记者:杨教授,您好!感谢您就丙型肝炎(丙肝)相关问题接受我们的采访。首先请您给我们介绍一下什么是丙肝?杨东亮教授:丙型病毒性肝炎是一种由丙型肝炎病毒(HCV)感染引起的病毒性肝炎。据世界卫生组织(WHO)统计,全球HCV的感染率约为2.0%~3.0%左右,估计约1.8亿人感染了HCV,每年新发丙型肝炎病例约3.5万例。
Reporter: Professor Yang, Hello! Thank you for accepting our interview on the related issues of hepatitis C (hepatitis C). First of all, please tell us what is hepatitis C? Professor Yang Dongliang: Hepatitis C is a type of viral hepatitis caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the global HCV infection rate is about 2.0% ~ 3.0%. An estimated 180 million people are infected with HCV. About 35,000 new cases of hepatitis C are caused each year.
