以艾南英的文章、年谱为主要依据,结合复社、桐城派的相关资料,由艾陈之争作为切入点,展开探究艾南英的文论思想。艾南英极力推崇唐宋派,明确了学秦汉以唐宋为桥梁的途径,突出了从司马迁、韩愈、欧阳修到归有光的散文既成传统,强调了平易通达的表现手法。其“以古文为时文”中的义与法、雅与洁等主要文学理论开了桐城派先声。
With Ai Nanying’s article and Chronicle as the main basis, combined with the relevant information of Fu Society and Tongcheng School, the debate of Ai Chen was taken as an entry point to explore Ai Nanying’s literary theory. Ai Nanying highly praised the Tang and Song factions, defined the way of learning the Qin and Han dynasties as the bridge between the Tang and Song dynasties, and highlighted the traditions of prose ranging from Sima Qian, Han Yu and Ouyang Xiu to emphasize the expressiveness and ease of expression. Its “to the ancient times as the text ” in the justice and law, Ya and Jie and other major literary theory opened the Tongcheng school first sound.
