三叠盆地位于阿尔及利亚撒哈拉地台北部,向东伸入突尼斯和利比亚西北部的地中海地区,是阿尔及利亚的主要含油气盆地,面积约30×104km2,其石油地质储量占整个阿尔及利亚的70%。盆地区域成藏地质条件十分优越,多期构造拉伸与挤压作用不仅造就了盆地内的构造格局,形成了各种圈闭样式,而且在盆地的沉降、抬升过程中孕育了二次生烃、多期成藏特征,具有良好的油气勘探潜力。
Located in the northern sub-Saharan Algerian platform and eastward into Tunisia and the Mediterranean region of northwestern Libya, the Triassic basin is Algeria’s main petroliferous basin with an area of about 30x104 km2 and 70% of its total oil-gas reserves in Algeria. The geologic conditions of hydrocarbon accumulation in the basin are very superior. The multistage tectonic stretching and extrusion not only created the tectonic framework within the basin, but also formed various trapping patterns. In addition, the secondary hydrocarbon generation , Multi-stage accumulation characteristics, has good potential for oil and gas exploration.
