近十余年来由于血液动力学及血液凝固学研究的进展以及对微循环的深入研究,人们对弥漫性血管内凝血有了进一步了解。弥漫性血管内凝血不是一个独立的疾病,而是许多疾病病理的一个中间环节。在大量动物实验及一些临床观察的基础上,目前多数学者认为血管内凝血是在多种致病因子的作用下体循环内出现大量凝血酶,导致微循环内产生广泛微血栓,从而产生了一系列病理、生理变化,如凝血因子和血小板的消耗、广泛出血、继发性纤溶亢进、血管内溶血及组织坏死等。
