Canadian literary queen Margaret Attwood’s novels or poems show three major focuses: feminist tendencies, nationalism and environmental awareness. As a dual role of both female writer and female scholar, Atwood has always been concerned about women’s struggles and struggles in men’s society. Through all kinds of female images she created in her novels, she can see the status of women as the “others” in patriarchal society. Among them, there are women in the circle that succumb to the demands of the traditional roles, who are deeply oppressed and persecuted, and the brave women who are engaged in resistance, are actively identifying themselves, and finally realizing self-identification and stepping out of the male shackles. In this paper, some women in four novels of Atwood are selected as the research object. Through the classification research on them, the author deeply understands the profound theme of Atwood’s novels, at the same time, it reflects on women’s own destiny and realizes their own Liberation also has a positive reference value.
